Common questions

• How do I invite friends? Open a trip and tap Invite to split. Send the link by iMessage, WhatsApp or anything else. Your friend opens it, taps their name, and you both add expenses to the same trip. No sign-up or iCloud needed. Friends without an iPhone can stay in the trip by name.
• Which currency is used? Each expense keeps the currency you paid in and the exchange rate from that day. Everyone sees what they owe in their own currency.
• A couple shares one budget. In the person's settings, set Counts as 2. Or choose Settles together with to pay back as one household.
• Several people paid one bill. In the expense, tap Paid by → Several people…
• Is my data private? Trips stay on your iPhone until you share one; shared trips sync through our server so everyone sees the same thing. Receipt photos never leave your phone. See the privacy policy.
• How do I delete my data? Trip settings → Delete trip (or Leave trip for a friend's trip).
